James Hardie Confirms UK Supply Continuity Agreement With Swisspearl

James Hardie confirms that it has reached an agreement with Swisspearl for the transfer of its remaining European inventory of Hardie® Plank and Hardie® VL Plank cladding products, together with associated accessories and agreed arrangements concerning the future operation of the Eastleigh distribution facility following completion.

Following completion of the agreed transaction steps, Swisspearl will manage the UK-based inventory, distribution, and supply of these products, supporting access, subject to product availability, for customers with existing James Hardie specifications and ongoing construction projects.

James Hardie will continue to honour applicable product warranties in accordance with the relevant warranty terms and conditions on Hardie® fibre cement products supplied under these arrangements.

Following completion, Swisspearl will provide technical and project support to customers, supported by experienced former James Hardie personnel who have joined its UK business.

The agreement has been structured to support continuity of supply, subject to product availability, minimise disruption to existing projects and provide customers with a clear point of contact for future product requirements.
